We took a day trip to Rye Harbor NH to go to the Seacoast Science Center, "seashell beach", and dinner at Ray's seafood Restaurant (YUM!). These pictures are in a crazy, messed up order, but here are some highlights...
The science center had a touch tank
and you could pet and pick up
sea stars, hermit crabs, and snails.
Brrrrrrr, it was cold but very entertaining!
Syd had to hold the littlest star!
We walked the trails of Odiorne State Park.
Eian was showing his prowess with "his" camera-
we have many shots of us walking in front of him!

Our budding photographer wanted a picture of us...aaawwwww

You can tell a kid who hasn't spent much time near the beach.
He built a cool sandcastle-with a stone
foundation and then built the sides with more stones!
Very structurally sound, don't you think?
I really enjoyed the "sea thatch" of seaweed for the roof!
A future architect???

She loves to run! And hop! And prance!

Seashells!
Yessssssssssss!

Loving that seaweed!

More from the touch tank at the science center.

Posing in the boat...
At the touch tank there was a fan to keep the floor kind of dry.
I had to snap this photo...
Reminds me a bit of that famous Marilyn Monroe photo.
Good thing we always wear shorts underneath!

More sea stars...

Cool
lionfish!

It was a long, long day but I think we all had a great time!
