We went to Southwick's Zoo

in Massachusetts on a HOT day.

One with sunshine and no rain!

Eian feeds the deer in Deer Park.

What he loved best was the petting zoo with all

of the goats. Not like he can't do that in his backyard

with the 4 goats back there! We went back to

this part 2 times and spent a good deal of time

watching the kids play with the very friendly critters.

I got smart this time and gave Eian our old

digital camera. He had a blast taking pictures

and he had to walk (not run) and stand still to take

all of the pictures. He actually took some pretty good

ones. Here he is taking a picture of a boar.

Sydney got brave and fed the white reindeer. It

was very friendly and when it found someone with food

it came right over and snacked. Deer Park was the family

favorite since the animals seemed to have lots

of room on many acres. You could walk, picnic, and
enjoy these beautiful creatures. That made it worth the

trip and the LONG day!
