At the entrance
(Check out the different personalities of our children!)
Sydney was fascinated by the Beluga Whale dig-but she wasn't interested in excavating, she wanted to sweep up all the chiseled sand and dirt into neat little piles.
She loves to clean! Who's child IS she?
We finally got Eian into a spot to stay. Forget the cages...we put him in an aquarium! No, really there is this neat tank that they can crawl under and put their little heads in a tube and really see what is in the tank. Sounds kind of weird, but it was fun!
FROGS! The kid is obsessed with frogs and toads lately. Now, this child can FREAK OUT at the smallest spider or fly, but coool and damp frogs and toads are another story. She'll pick 'em up, kiss 'em, and she'd probably put them in bed with her if we let her!
To quote the boy..."AWESOME!" Noisy things. Flying things. In the motion room Eian found he could be LOUD and make things go flying across the room! This picture shows the paper airplane launch. You could get the planes to SLAM into the wall! There was also a place to launch paper rockets and you had to pump away at the machine. The more pressure that built up, the more noise and force there was! Right up this boy's alley!

The Hurricane Room!
The Hurricane Room!
The kids had a blast here!
They climbed in this little wind tunnel and the wind got up above 78 miles per hour. Mom and Dad didn't go in, we already experienced the real thing in our North Carolina days! Syd still does that thing that babies do if you puff air in their faces. You know, the little gaspy thing. So the whole time she was squealing and giggling and gasping away. Later she went back in again by herself and would have returned but the line was too long!
A great day was had by all! We stayed until they closed. When we got home, the kids slept GREAT! (So did the parents!)
I love the hurricane pic and the one of Eian w/the planes! Looks like fun! I wonder if we would have recognized each other if we had been there too?!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if we would have recognized each other or not...I might have rcognized SPencer from all of his great pictures though!!! The kids did have a great time! I've got to thank you again for this blog idea. I'm not nearly as good about updating it as you are, but it is such an easy way to share pix!
